I'm sure all of these trees will be replaced by a different species that will produce higher levels of oxygen, provide more shade, and be of the same size, if not larger.

I'm with ya one this one, honey...WHO GAVE THE ORDER?. They should at least remove the stumps now so that something else can be planted. Those roots are going to be a bitch. Trees were there for long time. TOTAL WASTE They want something to cut down they should do trees in front of Kosher Resturant..THEY'RE DEAD. Been dead for awhile.

I throw up my hands at Public works ever getting the whip cracked to earn what they cost us. Sandy let them get away with riding trucks around all day, some DUI s had to be driven. I dont expect Weinstraub to do any better. that Job takes somene who doesnt care if hes liked but God help you if you dont work hard. So much engergy, to little direction.
